You can start painting practice by referring to the simple drawing steps below:
Step 1. Draw the Eyes
Begin by drawing two large eyes close together. Start with two big circles, then add a smaller circle inside each eye for the highlights. Finish by drawing the pupils in the center, just like in the illustration. These big eyes will give your worm a cute and friendly look.
Step 2. Draw the Head
Now draw a large circle around the eyes to create the worm’s head. Next, add a small round nose and a wide smiling mouth beneath the eyes. Your cute worm is already starting to come to life!
Step 3. Draw the Antennae
Draw two curly antennae on top of the head. Let each antenna curve upward and finish with a small spiral at the tip. These playful antennae make your cartoon worm look even more adorable.
Step 4. Draw the First Body Segment
Under the head, draw a large round body segment that overlaps slightly with the head. Then add two tiny feet at the bottom, one on each side. This is the first segment of the worm’s body.
Step 5. Complete the Body
Continue drawing several more overlapping body segments behind the first one. Make each segment slightly smaller than the previous one to create a natural perspective. Since the body overlaps, only one little foot is visible on each of the remaining segments, just as shown in the illustration.
Step 6. Color Your Cute Worm
Finish your drawing by adding bright, cheerful colors. You can color each body segment a different color to create a fun rainbow worm, or use your favorite colors to design your own unique cartoon worm.
Congratulations! You have learned how to draw a cute worm step by step. With its big eyes, smiling face, and colorful body, this little worm is sure to brighten up your drawing. Try changing the colors or adding a fun background to make your artwork even more creative. Happy drawing!
