Step 1
Start drawing your Betta by creating a circular curve shape for the head. Leave your back open for the rest of your body.
Step 2
Now add two small circles for the eyes. Paint the black inner circle. Now add a small line to the mouth. Betta fish sometimes raise their babies in their mouths!
Step 3
Draw two curves on the right and go down for the body. This particular fish can be up to 1 inch long.
Step 4
Now add a light bulb at the end to make the tail. Make a small point at the end of the light bulb as well.
Step 5
To draw the top fin, draw two curves that meet at one point.
Step 6
For the lower fins, draw two more downward curves at one point and another shape similar to the top fins to make the lower dorsal fin.
Step 7
Add lines inside all fins for details, and lots of small ovals all over the body to draw proportional models. Betta fish has all kinds of different colors! They have up to 24 colored rays on the fins.
