Step 1
First, draw the basic shape and outline of your carrot. Thicker at the top and slimmer and pointed at the bottom. Think of it as having an upside down triangle shape.
Step 2
Next, draw lines that can be found on a carrot. Remember that a carrot is not completely smooth. It has a lot of lines and crevices around it. Simple lines drawn around carrots will do.
Step 3
In this step, we will draw green patches at the top of the carrot. First, start by drawing the body of the greens. They should look long and narrow. Don’t worry about the size of the green trunk, they can be any length you want for them. 🙂
Step 4
Now, you can draw in some basic green. You don’t need to focus too much on details. Draw the basic shape and size of your green first.
Step 5
Finally, draw some details in your green. Make them look leafy and slightly crumpled as detailed. It will have a slightly brittle look at the top.
Step 6
Finally, color the carrot, green for the leaves and orange for the carrot
