Step 1
Let’s start painting one by painting the beak first. By making a triangle triangular with a line in the middle for the mouth. The Blue Jay eat nuts, seeds, fruits, oaks and insects.
Step 2
For the head, draw a light bulb around the mouth, adding crest on the head is a long pointed hairpin. Add your eyes by creating a circle with a smaller circle inside for students.
Step 3
Now, start painting the body with the first back. Draw a curve down and make some small curves. Now, bring another line down from the bottom of your head.
Step 4
For the abdomen, make a large almond shape go down under the head and neck. Notice the small fluff underneath.
Step 5
To add wings, draw a small cone at the bottom right with an inside line for the feather detail. Blue Jays has a wingspan of nearly 1.5 feet and can fly up to a speed of 25 miles per hour!
Step 6
Now add the tail feather by drawing two lines down at an angle with a feather point.
Step 7
Draw the first leg, draw a small tube shape and add a few toes with sharp claws at either end.
Step 8
Now, add a small foot in front first. Fill the blue bird with a peak on the head, and white on the bottom.
