Haystack Drawing easy step by step
Step 1. Sketch the shape of the haystack
First, sketch the basic shape of the haystack using an inverted “U” shape. Note that its edges are not smooth but have small ridges; these are the exposed straw stumps.
Step 2. Draw the bottom of the haystack
Use an uneven curve to connect the two edges of the haystack. It’s simple, right? Just a few more strokes and you’re done.
Step 3. Add details
Next, draw some rough lines on the haystack; these are the uneven straw strands, as shown in the illustration.
Step 4. Add more details
To make the haystack look more perfect, add small “V” shapes interspersed with the larger details you just drew.
Step 5. Finish and color
Finally, color the haystack with yellow, light yellow, or yellowish-brown, depending on your preference.
