Pyramid 3D Drawing step by step
Step 1. Drawing the first face of the pyramid
First, use a ruler to draw the apex of a triangle with a certain angle, as shown in the illustration. Note that you can use a dark pen like I did, or draw with a pencil.
Step 2. Drawing the second face
Similarly, from the apex of the triangle just drawn, draw another line to form the apex of the pyramid with an angle so that we can clearly see both faces.
Step 3. Completing the pyramid
Next, use a ruler to draw the base edges of the two triangles just drawn to create a complete pyramid. The next step is to make the drawing look more realistic with a 3D effect.
Step 4. Drawing the pyramid’s shadow
Next to the pyramid we just drew, use a pencil to draw a projection of the pyramid onto the ground, as shown in the illustration. It’s very easy, isn’t it? Its length depends on the sunlight shining on it.
Step 5. Shade the pyramid
Use a dark pencil to shade the shadow of the pyramid.
Step 6. Darken the pyramid drawing
Use a pencil to darken the sides of the pyramid. Note that the sides of the pyramid are a lighter gray because they receive more light, while the back is shaded from the light, so we use a darker color. So, with just 6 basic steps, you can easily draw a 3D pyramid, right? Have fun!
