Step 1. Sketch the Tall Glass
First, draw a U shape to outline the tall glass.
Step 2. Attach the Base
Attach the base of the tall glass by drawing a shape similar to the illustration.
Step 3. Add the Texture
Add texture to the tall glass by creating four vertical lines.
Step 4. Add the Milkshake
Draw a rough inverted V-shaped line as shown to outline the milkshake. Draw three wavy lines to create the shape of the milkshake.
Step 5. Add the Straw
Add the straw by drawing an inverted U-shaped line on the right side of the milkshake. Draw the opening of the straw by creating a curve connecting the corners of the straw. Create a pattern on the straw by drawing diagonal lines as shown.
Step 6. Finish the Milkshake Drawing
Let’s finish the milkshake illustration by coloring the tall glass with a mixture of blue and purple colored pencils. Next, use a brown marker to color the milkshake. Then, use alternating white and red markers to color the straw. To add a little depth to our drawing, use a purple marker to shade the edges and opening of the straw.
