Step 1. Outline the body of the Clipboard
Start by drawing a vertical rectangle to create the body of the clipboard.
Step 2. Attach Clip
Next, sketch the elongated shape of the clip onto the clipboard as shown in the illustration. Then add round holes on the clip.
Step 3. Draw a piece of paper clipped to the clipboard
Draw a vertical rectangle and add a fold to the bottom right to create a piece of paper clipped to the clipboard.
Step 4. The paper pattern behind the first drawn sheet
Now, create more vertical rectangles to represent the sheets of paper behind the first shape.
Step 5. Add posts
Add wavy horizontal lines to represent writing on paper.
Step 6. Complete the Clipboard drawing
It’s time to make our clipboard look professional and fun! Use a brown pen to color the clipboard and a gray pen for the metal clip. Then, color the sheets with a light yellow pencil.
