Step 1
This step will be to frame Thomas Jefferson’s face. Start by drawing a large circle for the main part of the head, then draw another small circle overlapping the larger circle for the lower part of the face. Lightly outline the guide lines on the face to the side. Then you can draw in part of the jaw and neck.
Step 2
Step 2 will teach you how to sketch his facial features. But first draw his head of hair, it’s very simple, just look at the drawing above which will help guide you with the liner. Now you can go ahead and lightly outline his thin and long eyebrows, wide nose, almond shaped eyes and his mouth with a smirk. Outline your jawline and chin then you can continue.
Step 3
This is where you will finish drawing the face and shirt. Using your pencil, lightly outline his wavy hair and bushy eyebrows. Take your time to add definition and detail to his hair and face. The color in his eyeballs, and the nose detail is so much better. Scroll down to draw a narrow collar and shoulders. After you do all that, move on to the last step.
Step 4
This is a very short step, all you are doing is detailing his shirt and collar. Once satisfied with your sketch, you can erase all the guides and circles that you drew in step 1.
Step 5
