Step 1
To start Zapdos, we will first draw an oval with a smaller circle on it. This will become his head and torso.
Step 2
Next, draw a very jagged outline around the circle to form some sharp looking Zapdos feathers.
Step 3
Next, draw a long, thin beak extending outward from the center of Zapdos’ head.
Step 4
Next, draw a triangular outline of Zapdos’ eye and give it a nostril near where its beak meets its head.
Step 5
Draw the inside of Zapdos’ eye along with a small slit for his pupil.
Step 6
Next, we’ll draw the outline of Zapdos’ two large wings by drawing some spikes growing from each side of his body.
Step 7
Draw a few more spiked feathers on top of each other to create a second coat after the first.
Step 8
We’ll use the same process to draw Zapdos’ tail — albeit much smaller than the wings.
Step 9
Like we did for its wings, draw a few more overlapping feathers on Zapdos’ tail.
Step 10
Next, draw two ovals below Zapdos’ body for his upper leg.
Step 11
Draw two straight legs protruding from each oval forming the final step.
Step 12
To complete Zapdos, we’ll need to draw four toes at the end of each leg to form his feet.
Step 13
