Once settled in the Green Hills, Sonic is ready for more freedom, and Tom and Maddie agree to leave him at home while they vacation. But, they were soon gone, as Dr. Robotnik returned, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of an emerald with the power to build and destroy civilizations. . Sonic teamed up with his sidekick, Tails, and together they set out on a journey to find the emerald before it fell into the wrong hands.
