Step 1. First, sketch out the waffle shape
First, sketch out the waffle shape by creating a rectangle, making sure to leave some space if you are drawing with a pen to add details in the next step.
Step 2. Now sketch out a stack of waffles
Now, sketch out a stack of waffles below by drawing some more rectangles. Don’t forget to leave some space for the next step or you can draw it all and erase some details if you are using a pencil!
Step 3. Draw the waffle sides
Add a line following the shape of each waffle to make them look more 3D.
Step 4. Add the blueberries
Add the blueberries by drawing circles with short curves inside.
Step 5. Add the whipped cream
Add the whipped cream by drawing a zigzag dome shape. Then add short horizontal lines to add some texture to the whipped cream.
Step 6. Draw the Waffle Bag Details
Draw the waffle bag by creating small squares on the surface of the waffle as shown.
Step 7. Draw the Plate
Draw the plate by creating two ovals.
Step 8. Define the Waffle Bags
Define the shape inside the waffle bags by adding lines as shown.
Step 9. Finish the Waffle Drawing
Let’s finish the waffle drawing by adding some color! First, color the waffles mostly in orange. Use a darker orange to add some shading to areas like the inside of the waffle bags and under the frosting. Next, color the whipped cream in white and light pink. Now, color the blueberries with a blue and purple pencil. Finally, shade the plate in blue.
