  How to Draw Stuff

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by using the curves to outline the cat’s face. Use “C” shaped lines to draw the forehead and snout, roughly surrounding a round heart. Draw a small “S” shape to show the cheek at the corner of the mouth.

Step 2

Use a pair of “U” shaped lines to cover the open mouth and lower jaw. Then draw a curve in the mouth to indicate the tongue. Stretch a curve down from the jaw to form the front of the neck.

Step 3

Use a pair of curves to surround a pointed ear. Detail inside the ear with a curve. Then, use a series of short curves that meet at the jagged points to point to the bristles on one side of the face. Elongate the curves from the side of the mouth to form a beard. Finally, stretch a downward curve to complete the neck.

Step 4

Round a narrow and rounded rectangle on top of the head, forming a brim. Draw out the side curves and top of the hat. Then, use a series of overlapping curves to complete the creased hat.

Step 5

Wrap a circle at the base of the neck to form a bow tie. Then, use the pairs of curves on each side of the bow tie. In the end, draw a double curve of itself, surrounding an irregular shape below the bow.

Step 6

Use a long, curved line to outline the arm and the end of the sleeve. Then use another curve to draw the hand. Allow it to double itself repeatedly, forming fingers.

Step 7

Draw edges and arms using curves. Cover the other hand, then fold into the first hand.

Step 8

Detail The cat in the face of the Hat. Draw two large ovals for the eyes. In each circle, draw a small circle in a circle and shade between them. Paste a triangle for the nose and fill in the shadow. Draw beard and eyebrows using curves.

Step 9

Use the technique of coloring closely spaced short lines to shade and texture the hat, face, and edges of the shape.

Step 10

Color the cat in the hat. He is usually gray to black in color with a red bow and a red striped hat.
