Step 1
At first, draw an oval on the top right side of the paper. This oval means the head of our pony.
Step 2
Now draw a horizontal line at the bottom of the oval. Draw an oval above the line, which means the eye.
Step 3
Draw the shape like in our example, as a guide for the body.
Step 4
Using several lines, connect the head to the body. Also outline the mouth and nose, as in our example.
Step 5
Continue drawing ponies. Use the curved oval to outline the legs.
Step 6
Draw the outline of the ear. Draw the hairline like in our example. Draw the eyelashes and hit the glare on the eyes.
Step 7
Draw the pupil in the eye. Draw the rest of the hair like in our example.
Step 8
Erase unnecessary guides and strokes. Circle the lines and make them clean and smooth.
Step 9
Draw the remaining legs and tail.
Step 10
Draw lines on the tail and hair, using long, smooth lines.
Step 11
In this step, we draw one of the main distinguishing features of the Rainbow Dash – the wings. They should be placed behind the Rainbow Dash, just behind the mane.
Step 12
The last step of the tutorial, where we draw a small cloud on the right side of the Rainbow Dash. Color the Rainbow Dash.
