Step 1
So use very light lines that outline the general contours of the pants. As you can see it’s very easy. Note that pants come in a variety of fit and waist heights.
Step 2
Now outline the belt, pockets, seams and pleats of the pants as shown in the image below. Here we drew classic pants with pleats, but you can also draw jeans using this drawing lesson.
Step 3
Circle the lines making them smooth and clean. Add some folds and draw out the waist. Note that when a person stands, folds form in the bottom part of the pants.
Step 4
The pants drawing is almost ready, it’s still just to give them some volume, by adding shadows.
