Noah’s ark is the ark in the Genesis flood account (Genesis chapters 6–9), through which God spared Noah, his family, and the parable of all creatures. animals of the world from the flood that engulfed the world. The story in Genesis is repeated, with variations, in the Quran, where the Ark appears as Safinat Nūḥ and al-fulk (Arabic: الفُلْك).
Searches for Noah’s Ark have been made since at least the time of Eusebius (c. 275–339 AD) and Ark believers continue to search for it in modern times, but there is no definitive physical evidence. Any records of the Ark were found. No scientific evidence has been found that Noah’s Ark exists as it is described in the Bible. More notably, there is also no evidence of a global flood, and most scientists agree that neither a ship nor such a natural disaster is unlikely. Some researchers believe that an actual (albeit local) flood event in the Middle East likely inspired later oral and written stories; a flood in the Persian Gulf, or the Great Flood of the Black Sea 7,500 years ago has been suggested as such a historical candidate.
