Step 1
Draw out the instructions as shown. Two circles for body shapes and all lines for other body parts. These instructions will be in blue the whole time so they are easier to see.
Step 2
Draw at the ears and top of the head. Remember this is a grass-type Pokemon, its ears and body parts look like leaves. To make them look like leaves, give them jagged areas and then smooth lines.
Step 3
Sketch in the body as shown. The body connects around the two circles you drew earlier and at the ends of the legs and so on, there are slightly curved pieces. These curved pieces are also said to be leaves.
Step 4
Draw the front leg. The feet should be rounded and have three small toes on each foot. Draw in the tail in the same way as the ears. Make it look like a leaf…give it serrated edges and smooth lines.
Step 5
Remove all blue guides EXCEPT the blue line that makes up the end of the head. Then add the leaf details (lines) as shown. Draw in the eyes, which are small ovals with another circle inside, then add in its little nose.
Step 6
Then, finally, draw a few lines where the skin color will change to green for the leaf.
