Step 1
Begin this lesson by drawing some basic guides and shapes to form a workable frame for your humanized Sonic character. Start by creating a circle for the head and from that shape, draw guide lines for the shoulders, arms, and torso. Create shapes for her pelvic area as well as small circles for her hands.
Step 2
For the second drawing step, all you have to do is draw the structure of her face shape, then start sketching out Blaze’s short, parted hairstyle. There should also be some pieces of yarn.
Step 3
Using the face guide, draw her eyes and make sure to make the upper eyelid very thick and dark like you see here. Eyelashes should also be thick and long, but eyebrows should be thin. Color her pupils, then draw a gem on her forehead as well as her nose and mouth. Sketch a section in the middle of her head, then sketch the actual hairline. Before finishing this step, you will need to draw a peacock ponytail as well as a rubber band around her head.
Step 4
You’re ready to draw her upper body. Start with the shape of her neck, then draw her shoulders, arms, and sleeves, as well as her bust or chest. The ends of her sleeves should have been notched like you see here. Make sure there are also wrinkles in the folds of her arms.
