You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
To get started with Arnold, we’ll first need to draw a large, flat oval for his head and a triangle underneath for his body.
Step 2
Next, draw Arnold’s collar connecting his head and torso. We’ll also draw Arnold’s arms — one at his side and the other bent outward at an angle.
Step 3
Now we need to help Arnold a little bit. Draw a small hand with three fingers visible at the end of each of Arnold’s arms.
Step 4
Divide the bottom part of Arnold’s body by four lines as shown in the picture. This will create a split between his bra and the shirt he wears on top.
Step 5
Next, draw Arnold’s long, thin legs reaching out from the bottom of his bra.
Step 6
Draw two large ovals at the bottom of the foot for Arnold’s very simple shoe.
Step 7
Now that most of Arnold’s body is done, we can start working on his face. Draw an upside down “C” shape for his nose and a small curve at the bottom of his face for his small smile.
Step 8
Next, draw two more large “C” shapes for Arnold’s eye contour.
Step 9
To finalize Arnold’s eyes, we’ll draw a line cut across the top of each of his eyes to form the eyelids and a small half circle inside each eye for Arnold’s pupils.
Step 10
Arnold certainly has a uniquely shaped head – earning him the nickname “Football Head”. Draw two small round ears on either side of Arnold’s “football” head.
Step 11
Now we need to give Arnold his hair. Draw two large sections of hair extending out to form a serrated/spiky shape.
Step 12
And finally, for such a big head, Arnold has the smallest hat! Draw a very small hat right between the two sections of his hair.
Step 13
All that’s left to do now is color Arnold a bit. Light blue for his shirt, pants, and hat, red for his bra, and beige tones for his skin — that’s it!
