Step 1
Start with a circle for Benjamin’s head and then add guide lines on the face. Next draw a neck line and then shoulder lines.
Step 2
You’ll now start outlining the shape of Franklin’s face and then use the facial guides to draw the top eye lines. Next, sketch out some of his right hair, then some wrinkles on his neck and shirt collar.
Step 3
You are in step three and what you will do now is outline and color the eyebrows and then finish outlining the eyes. He is old in this painting so you have to convey his age through art. Sketch the wrinkled pockets under his eyes, then outline the shape of his nose, mouth, chin, inner right ear, and some other details on his shirt collar.
Step 4
You will start out sketching his thin hair as shown and then color in the pupil. Draw the outline of the lower lip and then outline the folds and buttons of Franklin’s shirt. Add some detailing to the wool coat he’s wearing and then move on to the next step.
Step 5
