Step 1
Yeti is basically something between man and monkey, and so his skeleton will be at the same time similar to that of man and monkey. First outline the head and then the line of the spine. Next, outline the shapes of the chest and pelvis. With the help of simple lines we outline the arms and legs.
Step 2
Now we are going to add some weight to our Yeti figure. The first thing we do is draw two lines on top that will help us draw the face’s details in the next steps. Next, outline the shapes of the torso, arms, and legs with simple geometric shapes, like in our example. Note that the proportions of the arms and legs are the same as those of the monkey.
Step 3
In previous steps we used very light lines to simply delete them. Starting with this step, we will draw the details using dark and clear lines. The first thing we do is draw the eye with the help of the vertical line we drew in the previous step. Next, draw a short and wide nose and a large mouth.
Step 4
In this step we are done with the Yeti’s head. Carefully draw the contours of the head as high as that of a gorilla. Next, draw the contours of the face like in our example, draw the hair lines, and delete the unnecessary guide lines.
Step 5
Now let’s move a little lower and work on the details of the body. Using bold and clear lines, carefully draw the shape of the body. To draw hair texture use short lines like in our example. Don’t forget to remove unnecessary instructions from the body.
Step 6
Now let’s take care of the long arms of our mysterious creature. With the help of similar short lines, we draw feathery contours on the arm of our erroneous creature. Next, using clear and light bold lines, carefully draw the contours of the monkey’s hands and fingers.
Step 7
We’ll do the same now, but this time with Yeti’s feet. As in the previous step we will draw the outline of the fur on the legs with the help of short strokes. When you draw the legs, take into account the contour of the muscles under the feathers, as in our example. In the same step, carefully draw the outline of the large foot using clear and dark lines.
