Step 1
Start drawing a sleeping cat by creating a rounded shape for the head. Then you will need to outline the facial guidelines.
Step 2
Next, using the facial guides, you’ll draw the slanted shapes of the eyes, and then draw the nose and mouth or lips.
Step 3
Now you can start drawing the shape of the cat’s head and face. When cats sleep, their heads will slope down and their ears spread out as you see here. After drawing the ears, add some fluff in the center of the forehead like so.
Step 4
Now we can draw the cat’s body curled up. As you do this, make sure the tail hugs the front of the body when the face is in it.
Step 5
Finally, all we need to do now is draw the toenails, toes, outline the beard and then draw the definition for the tail and the eyebrow body. Erase the mistakes you made in the past.
Step 6
Here’s what your sleeping cat should look like when you’re done. Color the cat any shade you like.
