Step 1
Drawing a normal circle is not particularly difficult, is it? A small feature is a slight taper at the top of the border. You may also find that the circle is slightly flattened on the sides. Consider that in nature, it’s perfectly rare to find perfect round fruit, so when drawing a grapefruit you might not try to create a super perfect round.
Step 2
Now let Tornado draw what’s left of the trunk. It looks like a small oval and a few triangular petals around it. As you can see, our grapefruit drawing is almost complete, as there are very few details in this fruit.
Step 3
Add a few more points around what we drew in the final step. In fact, grapefruit is quite smooth fruit so you should not draw too many points. Then draw some shadows. Notice how the hatch looks different from the different sides of our grapefruit.
Step 4
Wedding bow is a color for grapefruit, when ripe it has orange-yellow skin, red hearts. You can draw more grapefruit cut as in the video above.
