Start by drawing a circle. This will help you form the German shepherd’s head.
Step 2
Draw ears, delete when necessary. Use curves to meet at gentle points to form each ear.
Step 3
Face contour, makeup remover as needed. On the cheek, create an impression of bushy fur by drawing a series of short lines that meet at jagged spots. Connect cheeks with a curve, outlining the protrusion of the muzzle.
Step 4
Inner ear details are triangular. Note that the U-shaped lines overlap each other on the side of the triangle. Use thick curves to form the eyebrows. Draw a few small circles in succession to form the eye; ball between the two smallest. Draw an oval in an oval to form a nose and a ball between them. Draw a straight line W just for the mouth. Outline the muzzle by drawing two lines facing up from the nose and a curve at the bottom of the muzzle.
Step 5
Comes with a triangle patch of hairs under the head. For each side, use a series of short curves, responding at jagged points.
Step 6
Hand drawn dog paw. Use pairs of curves for each. Then, close the feet using U-shaped lines to form each toe. At the base of the leg, draw patches of hair using a series of curves that meet at jagged spots.
Step 7
Sketch of dog Back and belly. Note the aliasing lines, the hairs on the shoulders, the hips and along the abdomen.
Step 8
Draw the hind legs. Use pairs of long, curved lines for each. Note the jagged markings near the tops of the legs and bend the ankles. Close the feet using U-shaped lines to form each toe. Draw a short, curved line at the ankle.
Step 9
Drawing shepherd’s tail. Use a series of short curves, meet at points and duplicate it back. Then use a series of similar lines to texture the tail and body.
Step 10
Coloring your cartoon german shepherd dog. Many German shepherds are black and brown, but they can also be white or solid black. A breed called the shepherd king has white markings on his stomach, tail and chin. Shepherds have brown blocks around their eyes with white or creamy snouts extending to the middle of the face.
