Step 1
Draw a dragonfly! Start with the upper part of the body, following an oval. The second part of the body also has a long oval but thinner and more pointed at the end. Draw three lines along the second part of the body.
Step 2
Trace a circle at the top of the body for the head.
Step 3
Add two large circles at the top of the head for the eyes and two long lines off the top of the head to get the antenna.
Step 4
Now, for the wings. On the top of the oval, follow a thin rectangle for the wings, but be careful! Restrain the lines so they look like real wings. Do the same for the other side, and draw another pair of wings on the sides of the oval bottom.
Step 5
Finally, draw your legs under your eyes, trace the lines, then go up and out again. Here’s a tip: make the end of the leg shorter than the rest. Have your dragonfly! Let’s color for the dragonfly.
