How to Draw a Red Panda cute and easy

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing a circle or an oval shape. This forms the panda’s head.

Step 2

Next, stretch a curve below the head. Fold the line in half back to itself, surround a circle, outlining the body.

Step 3

On one side of the head, stretch a short and curved line. Then, draw some curves, which meet at points, to form a zigzag pattern. Then, use a longer curve to connect the zigzag to the chin. Repeat this process on the other side to form a mirror image.

Step 4

From the middle of the body, stretch a curve. Allow the line to cross the outside of the body, then double back to itself. This is one of the panda’s forelegs. Use a curve to form the other leg.

Step 5

Remove guide lines from face and legs.

Step 6

Draw a curve on the body, roughly enclosing a circle. Then, connect the open edge of the circle to the front of the body by a short, curved line. This forms the panda’s hind legs. From the hips, a long, curved stretch surrounds the front body. Duplicate the line back to itself, cutting across the feet. This forms a long and thick tail.

Step 7

Consists of small ovals at the ends of each leg, denoting claws. The caudal line is made up of parallel curves, denoting the stripes.

Step 8

For each ear, wrap a triangle and a smaller triangle inside it. Draw two circles in the middle of the face to form big eyes. Draw a small circle inside each eye and paint a shadow around it. On each eye, draw a “U” shape aside. Then, surround the end of each “U” using a series of short curves that meet at jagged points. They form the panda’s eyebrows.

Step 9

Add the final touches to your red panda. Draw a rounded, upside down triangle to form the nose. Place a small oval inside it and shade around it. Underneath the nose, draw two curves like a circular “W” to form the mouth. Cover the mouth and the area between the eyes using short, curved lines that meet at jagged points. Use the same lines to surround a curved shape on each cheek. Finally, add a fur texture to the top of the head, chest, and forelegs using short lines.

Step 10

Color your raccoon. In the wild, red pandas have reddish-brown fur, black breasts and feet, white ears and face, and darker brown rings around the tail.
