Step 1. Draw the lid of the box
Start by drawing a thin rectangle to make the birthday gift cover.
Step 2. Shape the body of the gift box
Draw a slightly taller rectangle below the lid to form the body of the gift box.
Step 3. Add a tie ribbon
Now add a ribbon tied on top of the lid as shown in the illustration.
Step 4. Attach the ends of the ribbon
Complete the ribbon by attaching the loose ends to the bottom of the ribbon.
Step 5. Now wrap the gift box
Sketch the ribbon as it wraps around the side of the gift box.
Step 6. Then wrap the other side
Draw the ribbon wrapping the other side of the box.
Step 7. Attach a gift card
Make your gift more personal by drawing a curved line as the gift tag string. Then, outline the shape of the card.
Step 8. Decorate the gift box
Add texture by drawing circles on the body of the gift box. Be creative and make it your own!
