In this tutorial we’ll show you how to draw a gorilla. In one of the previous lessons we have already shown you how to draw the most famous gorilla in the history of cinema – King Kong. The structure of this lesson will be similar to the structure of the lesson about King Kong.

Step 1
First of all, let’s sketch the head in the form of a large oval. Next, outline the torso, pelvis and extremities, using very light lines.
Step 2
Outline the muzzle and a line for the eyes. Add volume to the gorilla’s body using simple geometric shapes, like in our example.
Step 3
Now let’s pay attention to the details. Outline the eyes, eyebrow contour, nostrils, and mouth.
Step 4
Using the clear and dark lines carefully draw the lines of the gorilla’s head and face.
Step 5
Carefully draw giant arms. Using short lines create a texture of the hair on the arm. Pay special attention to the palm of our gorilla.
Step 6
Draw out giant pectoral muscles and giant abdominal muscles. Carefully draw the hind legs and also use short strokes to draw the texture of the hair.
Step 7
Black eye paint. Next, use the hatch feature to add shadow to the gorilla’s body.
