How to draw Stegosaurus from jurassic world step by step for kids with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions.
Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
First, draw head and face. The Stegosaurus has a long, small, flat head, almost like a turtle. Keep in mind the body will be much larger.
Step 2
Draw the body and bone. The collar will extend out from the back of the small head and increase in a large bump. From the back, draw a sharp triangle, very sharklike. They will start very small and are much larger than the back of the stegosaurus.
Step 3
Draw the front leg. Because of its shape, these must have short, firm legs, like elephant legs.
Step 4
Draw the hind legs. They look similar to the front, but their thighs are much taller on the stegosaurus and more bent with them, even at the knees.
Step 5
Draw the tail and bone. The tail sliding down from the back of the body is very similar to the way the neck slides up, but it is thinner. The panels will reduce the size from the largest panels on the back. Draw a series of four spines at the tail end, the stegosaurus used as a weapon.
Step 6
Finally finish the dinosaur by coloring it to look more alive
