Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Let’s start this lesson. Start with a circle for the DM head, and then draw lines to form the frame work you’ll need to draw Yu-Gi-Oh! card character.
Step 2
Here you’ll draw a pointed cone that looks like the Dark Magician’s hat, and also his collar. The lining for the hat is not smooth. Instead, the ribbed type. The hat is also the frame around his face, which means you’ll need to keep that in mind when doing this step.
Step 3
Draw the magician’s hat in more detail by adding spiral veins down the hat starting at the tip. Next, draw the back of the collar, and add the boarding lines. Once done, you can color the inside of the hood and paint some shoulder padding.
Step 4
Draw more parts of the leaf like the collar for the DM. Once this is done, you can add detailed contours, and then draw the face like that. Once done, draw the top of his right arm. Notice that there is a shoulder pad.
Step 5
Finish drawing his arm, and then draw his hand as you see here. Next, outline his shirt that should have loose styling and texture to it. Once that’s done, add some creases and folds to create detail and stroke.
Step 6
Before you do anything else, pull out the staff the Dark Magician is sticking in your face. At the top of the staff, draw two flaps. and then the ball-like round pearl in the center. Next, draw more length of the shirt, and then knot in the back.
Step 7
As you can see, you are almost done with this lesson. Now it’s time to finish drawing the length of the DM shirt. Notice how it has folds? Add details and strokes to convey the texture of his shirt. Next, start outlining his thighs.
Step 8
Finish drawing the Dark Magicians’ legs, and then add details on the material of the pants. Do your best to erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up your work.
Step 9
This is how your Yu-Gi-Oh card character will look when you’re done. Color him with his epic colors, and then you’re done. I hope you have fun!
