Step 1
Start with a large circle for the center of the atom. Next, draw a series of vertical lines passing through the center of the atom. These lines will be the cloud for electrons.
Step 2
You will now start drawing circles for the protons and neutrons in the center. Next, draw small circle beads for the electrons and then move on to the next step.
Step 3
You will draw an oval-like circle going around the center as seen here and this will be the cloud formed by the atomic electrons.
Step 4
Draw another oblong oval circle and this will also be done in the next step until there are three clouds at all.
Step 5
You will draw the final elongated oval circle to form the electron clouds you see here.
Step 6
You will now draw out the central clouds surrounding the core of the atom and then start erasing the guides you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.
Step 7
This is what you should have when you finish your drawing. All you have to do is choose some color to fill in the center circles.
