Step 1: Select the upper and lower lip position
This first stroke will determine whether you will draw an excessive, normal or under-bite bite.
Step 2: Choose the lips
This second stroke determines the thickness of the upper and lower lip and the angle of the mouth with the angle up or down.
Step 3: Draw a triangle
Turn your sketch into a triangle. The longer your triangle, the wider your lips will be.
Step 4: Draw the corner of the mouth
Draw the corner of the mouth. This can be a simple dot, frame, raindrop shape, triangle, etc.
Step 5: Draw the upper lip
You can start with the upper or lower lip. For this tutorial, I started with the top of the page.
Draw a curve starting at the top left corner of the triangle. This curve can almost follow the shape of a triangle, protruding or well drawn inside the boundaries. It’s up to you.
Step 6: Complete the upper lip
Connect the curve you have drawn to the corner of your mouth. Avoid drawing a line across. It’s better to draw a slightly curved curve than a perfectly straight line.
Step 7: Draw the lower lip
To draw the lower lip, start stroking from the lower left corner of the triangle and wrap it until it touches the upper lip.
Step 8: Draw the upper and lower lip
Draw the lips from the side Draw the upper lip. Be careful not to extend your line too far. The upper lip should be nearly the same thickness as the upper lip.
When drawing the lower lip / chin for the lower part, make sure that the curve is less clear. The lower set of teeth pushes the lower / lower lip forward, greatly reducing the curvature.
Step 9: Draw the upper lip and lower lip
Using your HB pencil with as little pressure as possible, draw the edges around each lip, connecting them to the corners of the mouth. Then delete your instructions.
Step 10: Add the borders
Time to shade! If you think your lines are too dark, use your kneading eraser to get a layer of graphite from your drawing. Then use a sharp HB pencil to place your contours.
Step 11: Lip gloss
Start constructing contour lines with pencil HB, 2B, and 4B.
Around the edges of each lips, soften your edges so they aren’t too harsh.
Step 12: Skin polishing
For this tutorial, I used the circulation to gloss the skin around the lips. I used a blunt HB pencil and built layers and circles. Then use 2B to cover the darker areas.
I paint the areas like the lower lip, cheeks, the corners of my mouth and the skin just below my nose a bit darker. If you still see a lot of white space, use an HB pencil to cover the skin with more layers. Don cage too strong or your circle will be very clear!
