Step 1
Start by drawing the head. It looks like an open ended oval with a slightly pointed end.
Step 2
Next draw a round eye close to the front of the head, near the bottom of the head.
Step 3
Continue the top line back and draw a line for the back. It will curve down at the end. Start at the end of the head line under adding the front foot. There are three toes on the front foot. Bring the back of the leg straight to an angle forward toward the head.
Step 4
Draw a straight line back from the front leg to make the abdomen. Then add thicker hindquarters with five toes spread wide across the foot. Draw the back leg towards the end of the back line.
Step 5
From the back and hind legs draw two lines to create a long, thick tail. It is as long as the body and has a sharp end.
Step 6
Finally add a foreleg towards the front and a hind leg on the other side of the body. Do not forget to add the toes. Coloring for lizards.
