Plateau scenery Drawing step by step
Step 1. Create the Plateau Peak
First, draw a wavy oval to form the flat top of the plateau.
Step 2. Draw the Main Shape Outline
Next, draw the main shape outline of the plateau by creating tapering edges and a jagged bottom. Create the rough edges of the plateau by drawing short, jagged lines.
Step 3. Add More Plateaus
Similar to the previous steps, begin by creating the flat top of the plateau. Draw the main shape outline, then add short lines to create a rough texture.
Step 4. Create Rocky Terrain
Draw jagged horizontal lines to create the rocky terrain surrounding the plateaus. Draw oval-shaped rocks in front of the plateaus.
Step 5. Draw Grass
Add patches of grass in the foreground and on top of the plateau.
Step 6. Draw the Cloud and Sun Outline
Draw large, fluffy clouds in the background, with a half-sun in the middle of the clouds and the edge of the plateau at sunset.
Step 7. Color the Plateau Painting
First, color the sky blue and the clouds white, and the sun a deep orange. Next, use gray to color the rock formations and light orange for the plateau and its peaks. Now, shade the edges of the plateau with brown and dark orange. Then, color the grass green. Use dark brown for the foreground terrain and lighter shades of brown for the terrain surrounding the plateau. Finally, shade the background terrain with cream.
