Step 1. First sketch of the planet
Begin by drawing the circular outline of Neptune.
Step 2. Next form Big dark spot
Next, draw a large oval to outline the wind storm known as the Great Dark Spot. Add wavy horizontal lines to form cloud bands around it.
Step 3. Now Add the scooter
Now, draw a very small oval to outline Scooter, a cirrus cloud visible on Neptune. Add wavy lines around the oval to draw the cloud belts.
Step 4. Then draw small dark spot
Then, draw another oval to form the Small Dark Spot. Outline the cloud bands around it by drawing wavy horizontal lines.
Step 5. Fill the planet with cloud bands
Let’s fill this gas giant with more wavy horizontal clouds.
Step 6. Complete the Neptune drawing
Let’s add some color to our drawing of Neptune! First, use a dark blue pencil to color the Large Dark Spot. Use a white pencil to color Scooter, the little cirrus cloud. Next, use a blue pencil to color in the Small Dark Spot. Then, use shades of blue to color the planet Neptune.
