Included are 9 easy steps to follow, children will enjoy drawing their own hotel on paper. Also included is a printable version of this hotel drawing lesson.
Step 1. First sketch the walls
First, draw three long vertical lines to form the walls of the hotel building. Next, add a horizontal line at the bottom to draw the base of the hotel.
Step 2. Add the roof
Now, draw a thin rectangular box for the roof.
Step 3. Attach the sign to the roof
Attach the domed sign to the roof similar to the illustration.
Step 4. Draw the star
Draw five stars in an arch shape.
Step 5. Attach the sign to the wall
First, form a rectangular box. Then add two small rectangles to attach the sign to the edge of the wall.
Step 6. Write lyrics about hotels
Write the word “HOTEL” on the sign on the wall.
Step 7. Sketch Windows
Draw the rectangular outline of the hotel window.
Step 8. Add doors
Form a rectangle and add a vertical line in the middle to draw the main door.
Step 9. Complete the hotel drawing
Let’s add some color to our hotel drawing! First, use an orange pen to shade the stars, wall signs, and door and window frames. Next, use a light yellow pencil to color the wall. Now paint the sign on the roof red. Then, use a dark red pencil to color the roof and base of the sign on the wall. Finally, use a light blue pencil to color in the glass of the doors and windows.
