Great White Shark Drawing

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

This will be a very simple guide for you to follow. All you have to do here is draw a circle for the shape of the open mouth and the shape of the spike. You will now draw a long oval for the middle of the body and then add guides for the fins and tail.

Step 2

Okay, now using the instructions you drew in step one, you’ll start adding the shape of the great white shark’s body. You will make the lining for the top of the head and nose. Then shape the opening for the mouth and jaw. You will then add vertical lines for the gills and then draw shapes for its back and tail. Finally shape the fins below the abdomen.

Step 3

So what do you think so far, pretty simple right? You’ll tackle this step by drawing details and lines like the shape of the eyeball, the details around the mouth, and then drawing the gums to prepare the mouth for the teeth. Detail around the mouth and then add the rest of the lining for the dorsal and caudal fins. Detail the body with some lines and add detailed lines on the lower abdominal fins.

Step 4

Okay, you’ve reached your final drawing step and what you’re going to do here is draw out the shape of his razor sharp teeth and then detail his gums. You will also color your doll like eyes. You will then need to draw the rest of the lining for the remaining fins and then detail the dorsal fins. You will then erase all the principles and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 5

Here’s what your shark will look like when you’re done. All you have to do now is color him and add some shadows. That’s it, you just finished the step by step tutorial on how to draw a great white shark. I’ll be back with more in a bit so stay tuned.
