Lotus Flower Drawing Step by Step
Step 1: Draw the First Lotus Petal
Begin by drawing the first petal of the blooming lotus flower. The petal has a simple teardrop-like shape. Use light pencil lines to create the basic form.
Step 2: Complete the Blooming Lotus
Continue adding more lotus petals around the center of the flower. Overlap the petals naturally to create a beautiful, fully blooming lotus with many layers of petals.
Step 3: Draw the Flower Stem and Center
Next, add the stem beneath the flower and complete the center of the lotus. Carefully connect the flower to its stem and refine the overlapping petals.
Step 4: Add a Lotus Bud
Draw another lotus flower beside the blooming flower. Create a closed lotus bud that is about to open, and add its stem to the composition.
Step 5: Draw the Lotus Leaves
