Whale drawing step by step guide below
Step 1. Whale Eyes
First draw a circle for the whale’s eye, shade it black leaving a small circle for the eye shadow.
Step 2. Back
Draw the whale’s back using a simple curve as shown in the drawing.
Step 3. Tail
When you finish the long line for the back, extend it further. Draw another line to meet at a gentle point. This is half the whale’s tail. Use two more lines to draw the other half.
Step 4. Mouth
Draw a curve, this will become the whale’s mouth. Draw a short line at the corner of the mouth and another line next to it.
Step 5. Belly and Belly Fins
Draw a curve for the belly leaving the fin, then sketch the belly using long lines from the mouth to the fin and from the fin to a point further down the body. Add the fins as shown in the drawing, it almost looks like a teardrop, doesn’t it? add some texture to the ventral fins.
Step 6. Chin and Belly Outline
Create an outline for the chin and belly using long curved lines.
Step 7. Nostril Stream
Draw a stream of water coming out of the blowhole on top of the whale’s head. Use double curved lines in a teardrop shape.
Step 8. Coloring
Finally, finish your whale drawing by coloring your big fish.
