Step 1
Start with ovals and boxes for the muzzle. Add your location line as well.
Step 2
Add two circles. This will happen for the front and rear legs. Add a small circle at the top for the eyes.
Step 3
Add a neck to your horse. Outline the front leg. Add a stomach to it too! Make sure you make your lines level with where it should be.
Step 4
Begin to shape the front and back legs. Add some extra details to that work. Make it muscular to give your horse some suppleness. More detailed face design and ear drawing.
Step 5
Fix those nails to those feet. Add some muscle around these areas. The anatomy of a mustang is nicely built and toned. Don’t make your mustache look slick without feeling authentic. Remember, realism is key if you want visitors to stay glued to your art.
Step 6
Roughly draw curls for your mane. We must have a mane!! Don’t forget the ponytail.
Step 7
Roughly start, build the mane. Make it wavy to match its running position. You can’t have straight hair while the wind is blowing! It will look extremely awkward! Almost done, wait there!
Step 8
