Step 1
In this first step, what you will do is draw out all the guides and shapes to form a solid frame for the Master Chief. Start by drawing a straight line going down the center of your page and then draw three horizontal lines for the face. Next, draw the hand and shape of the torso and finally the gun liner.
Step 2
Now here you will draw the shape of his whole body as shown above. You really have to take your time when doing this so that every piece appears piecemeal and even. Always start from scratch and work your way up. His head was nothing but a circle that looked like a motorcycle helmet. Draw out all the principles that make up his uniform or armor if you like. You can then draw the shape of the powerful weapon he is holding in his hand. After you’ve drawn his fingers out and your drawing looks similar to the one above, move on to the next step.
Step 3
Now it’s time to start wasting time because you have to sit there and BE KIND without DRAWING the defining lines that make up his armor. At this point, you may want to delete any guidelines you don’t need just because it will be quite difficult to delete them later. When you subdivide the armor in steps like you saw in step 2, it looks like a vest. In this step, all you are doing is making oddly shaped squares all over his body. The best thing to do is to enlarge the image and paint Master Chief with a clear picture. Take your time.
Step 4
this is where you will complete the Master Chief and his weapons. Only shade in the places that need shading and draw the rest of the lines as shown above. If you didn’t delete all the guidelines in step 3, delete the rest here before you continue to the next step.
Step 5
Here’s a sketch of what your Master Chief will look like when you’re done. As you can see from the finished photo, I included the Halo logo from the Bungie Studios website just to give it a little more pizazz.
