You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing a large circle. This will be the tutorial for drawing Spidey’s head.
Step 2
Use a series of long and short curved lines to outline the square cheeks and chin below the circle.
Step 3
Sketch of Spider-Man’s triangular eyes. For the closest eye, use two long curved lines and one short straight line to draw the triangle. Then draw another, slightly larger shape around the first one. For the other eye, use curved lines to enclose the triangles against one side of the head.
Step 4
Erase the guide lines, leaving a clear outline of the head.
Step 5
Shade a dot or small circle between the eyes. Then draw a long curved line between the dot and the top of the head. This starts the iconic Spider-Man web pattern. Next, extend two curved lines from below the head to outline the neck.
Step 6
Draw another long curved line from the center point to the top of the head. This forms the second radius of the spider web pattern.
Step 7
Draw another radius, a long curved line from the center point to the edge of the face.
Step 8
Draw a fourth radius from the center point to the cheek.
Step 9
Draw a fifth radius from the center point to the chin.
Step 10
Draw a sixth radius from the center point to the cheek.
Step 11
Start drawing the web template’s spiral. Draw curves between the eyes and radius lines between them.
Step 12
Continue drawing a spiral above the eyes. Use curved lines to connect radius lines to each other and to the eye tip.
Step 13
Continue drawing the spiral, using curves between the radius lines.
Step 14
Start drawing a spiral below the eye. Again, use curved lines to connect the radius lines to each other and to the fundus.
Step 15
Draw long lines between the radius lines on the top of the head, diverging lines around the eyes and over the chin.
Step 16
Draw curved lines between the lines of the spiral on one side of the face.
Step 17
Draw curved lines on the neck to continue the cobweb pattern.
Step 18
Draw the lines of the spiral between the radius lines on the neck.
Step 19
Continue drawing short curved lines between the radius lines of the neck.
Step 20
Color your cartoon Spider-Man mask. It is usually red and black.
