Step 1
Start by creating the guides for the head and muzzle like you see here. Oral sketching is fine.
Step 2
Next, start outlining the actual shape of the muzzle, then draw in the forehead and some hair on the top of the head.
Step 3
Next, start sketching the shape of the ear like this, and instead of the pointed end you will need to draw a rounded end. Add fluff to the cheeks or jawline like so, then draw the bottom part of the lower jaw.
Step 4
All you have to do here is draw in the other ear.
Step 5
Next, outline the face starting with the eyes, then outline in detail the nose, inner ear, and all the textured strokes of the face. Make sure to shade in some areas around the eyes and then outline at the nose and beard.
Step 6
For the final drawing step, all you have to do is outline the shape of the neck, then add details to its coat to create a fur-like appearance. Erase your mistakes and you’re done.
