Step 1
The salmon will probably be one of the easiest fish out of all the ones I’ve sent so far. Start with a small egg shape for the head and then draw a shape for the body of the fish. Add curved guides for the tail, and then for the nose or mouth.
Step 2
Now you will sketch out the shape of the mouth of the fish as you see here and take your time as you want the animal to look accurate if you take the time to draw it out.
Step 3
Start outlining the details along the side of the gills and then outline the rest of the actual body shape including the two fins.
Step 4
You will now outline the dorsal fin, as well as the anal and caudal fins. When you’re done, you can go ahead and add a detailed liner to show off the texture of the fish. Add a definition line at the back end of the body as you see here.
Step 5
For the final drawing step, all you have to do is draw the little eye and color in the pupil. Next, draw the remaining fins, and then add a series of spots along the upper part of the salmon’s body as you see here. Erase principles and shapes you don’t need to erase your drawing anymore.
Step 6
