Step 1
First, to draw an anime character you have to use a pencil to sketch the basic parts, it doesn’t need to be too accurate.
Note: Be sure to leave enough free space on the paper for the next steps.
Step 2
Lighten all construction lines by stamping Kneading Eraser on paper.
Step 3
Wait until the ink is nice and dry and clear all construction lines.
Step 4
To add color, first make sure to outline the colored borders with the appropriate color or pencil. This is an important step for the comic book characters to come to life.
If your goal is to become a true Mangaka and design your own comic characters, be sure to try to draw Thorfinn out of memory multiple times. Always compare drawings with originals and correct any errors you see. Do this until you are satisfied with the results. It is not accurate, looks exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The problem is that you get the main shape and it looks nice.
