Step 1
To start this lesson on Princess Tiana, you’ll draw the shape of her head and add guidelines on her face. Next, attach a neckline to the bodice shape and then draw the long bell shape of the dress as you see here. Finally add the arm guides.
Step 2
Now outline her face shape and then use the facial guides to add her eye shape. Next outline her lips and nose.
Step 3
You will basically finish her head shape and hairstyle as you see here and then draw her princess crown. Outline her ear and then draw the right side of her neck.
Step 4
Next, start drawing the shape of her shoulders, arms, and torso the way you see it drawn for you here. You will also draw the lining for the top of Princess Tiana’s dress.
Step 5
Draw her necklace and then draw an outline for the top of her cape as you see here. Once you’re done, you’ll outline her right arm and hand gripping her skirt, then add some pleats around her waist.
Step 6
For the final drawing step, you’ll sketch out more pleats and then sketch the ruffled skirt underneath her pretty dress. You will then start erasing all the principles and shapes that you drew in step one.
Step 7
