Step 1
Start outlining Depp by drawing a circle for his head, and then another outline for his face shape. Add such facial guides, and then move on to the next step.
Step 2
Now start sketching the actual shape of his face, starting with the jawline and chin. Move up to the lips, then to the nose, eyes and eyebrows.
Step 3
Look eat what you will do here. His hair is always long, which means you will start outlining his front bangs. Fill in the eyebrows, then fill in the lower lip. Finish off the eyes, add the nostrils, and then remember to make some creases between his eyebrows.
Step 4
This is where you will start your shadow. Start adding this layer of shading around the eyes, inside the pupils, along the cheeks and around the lips. This shading will add texture and definition like you see here. And since he is also known to have a scowling face, you will need to draw some facial hair including his mustache and chin beard. Add some shade around the tip of his nose and nostrils.
Step 5
For your final drawing step, you will first need to erase the lines and shapes, and then start sketching in his hair style. Take your time and don’t rush through this step. Add lines and shadows to his head, then to his neck and shirt.
Step 6
