Easy Drawing Guides

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing an oval. This will help you shape Firestar’s head.

Step 2

Delete the top of the circle. Draw two rounded triangles, with open bases to form ears. In each ear, draw two curves and connect them at the bottom with a series of short curves that meet at the jagged points. Use a similar serrated line to connect the ears, creating the look of the bristles.

Step 3

Delete the bottom part of the circle. Use a series of overlapping curves to outline the bristles. Note how bulging your chin is. Draw a circle to form the nose and a wavy, curved line below it to represent the mouth. Draw curves around the nose to contour the muzzle.

Step 4

Stick two irregular circles to form the eye. Draw two small circles in each circle and shade one to represent the pupil.

Step 5

Draw two small circles below the cat’s chin. This indicates his name tag. Stick the curves of the collar onto each side of the card. Then, draw some short lines that meet at jagged points to form Firestar’s shoulder.

Step 6

Use a long, curved line to draw the animal’s back. Stretch a few long and curved lines to form the tail and connect them at the end with a series of jagged lines. Draw another serrated tuft of short lines, connected at the base of the tail.

Step 7

Draw the legs behind. First, outline the hips using short lines that meet at jagged points. Draw another serrated patch for the front of the thigh. Then stretch a pair of curves, noting the curvature of the ankle. Paste the “U” shape lines for the toes. Repeat this process for the second hind leg.

Step 8

Use a series of curves to outline the abdomen, including a jagged bun of hair in the chest. Use a pair of curves and a “U” shaped line to draw the foreleg.

Step 9

Use a pair of long and curved lines to draw the rest of the leg. Use a curve to connect the legs to the collar, complete your drawing.

Step 10

Firestar color. Notice how, in our example, we used different shades of orange, combined with light brown to denote the stripes of the cat. Then, explore the entire clan with the help of our cat drawing tutorials.
