Step 1
Okay, let’s start with this first step. This will be very simple. All you have to do is draw a total of five vertical lines that are slightly tilted inward with two shapes at the ends smaller than the rest. Next, draw the box of the building shape on the left as well as the guide lines going in the horizontal direction.
Step 2
In this next step, you will start drawing vertical lines on the building structure to prepare your skyscraper for all the small looking windows that you will place there in the next step. Make sure your lines are nice and straight and well spaced. Once done, draw a horizontal line at the bottom of the building to make way for the solid structure.
Step 3
In this next step you will start drawing out the individual windows in the skyscraper and all the windows are perfect squares with the largest window being at the bottom. Then you would color all the windows and then write down your own name for your skyscraper. The building on the left also needs a design as you can see, so what you will do is draw the design. On the right side of the skyscraper you will leave the empty windows looking.
Step 4
This is your final drawing step and all you need to do is draw the rest of the windows squares like you did in step three. Add some signage details to the bottom of the building including spotlights and banners. Erase any visible outlines or guides that you drew in step one. The horizontal line you drew above the building is your horizon line.
Step 5
Once you’re done, your vertical rectangle will appear to look like the one you see here. All you have to do now is add some color to the day or night sky and some color to your building. You just learned how to draw a skyscraper step by step.
