How To Draw A Geometric Rose

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

First, let’s outline the center of the rose, this will assist us as we begin to line up the other petals side by side.

Step 2

Next, we’ll simply draw, starting with the center we drew earlier, the smaller petals inside that center. Then you will draw the early stages of the outer petals. Try to imagine drawing around it as if it were a spiral!

Step 3

Then we will start increasing the size of the petals, so the size of each petal will increase as we get closer to the final outer edge!

Step 4

Next, you draw two boxy petals below the rose.

Step 5

Then work on the even larger petals that cover the center of the rose.

Step 6

Finally, draw the remaining rose petals around it, do you see how easy that is??

Step 7

This is where you will draw the leaves. Make sure to add veins on the leaves for more detail and realism.

Step 8

Once you’re satisfied with the way you’ve drawn by following these simple steps, you’ll have almost the same result as this. I hope you guys enjoyed this lesson because it was so much fun creating it!
